About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Snowboard Instructor to join our team at Camelback Lodge. As a Snowboard Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for Snowsports and make memories with our guests while teaching them to ride.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct Groups and Individuals: Teach snowboarding lessons to groups and individuals in a fun and safe environment.
  • Teach Proper Technique: Educate guests on proper snowboarding techniques, tailored to their ability level.
  • Promote Safety: Emphasize the importance of safety and provide guests with knowledge to remain safe while snowboarding.
  • Follow Direction: Follow direction from supervisors to ensure the success of the Ski & Ride Academy program.
  • Greet Guests: Greet guests and direct them to the proper lesson locations.
  • Assist Supervisor: Assist the Snowboard School Supervisor daily in all other Ski & Ride Academy functions as required.
Requirements
  • AASI Certification: Must have an AASI Certification.
  • Teamwork: Able to work well with others.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt, take direction, and possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Training: Must successfully complete instructor training (provided by Camelback).
  • Physical Demands: Must be capable of riding for prolonged periods of time and able to lift 50 pounds.
