Stability Direct is currently in search of a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team.
Job Responsibilities- Specialty: Physical Therapy
- Discipline: Therapeutic Services
- Employment Type: Staff
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours
- Shift Duration: 8 hours
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Possess a valid California Physical Therapy License
- Hold a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross for Healthcare Providers
The Staff Physical Therapist will be responsible for:
- Delivering and overseeing physical therapy services for patients across various age groups and rehabilitation stages, following physician prescriptions.
- Utilizing a range of techniques including exercise, heat, light, sound, electricity, water, and massage.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and adherence to the goals and policies of Stability Direct.
- Engaging in quality assurance initiatives and maintaining accurate patient records, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Supervising therapy technicians and students in treatment administration.
- Participating in continuing education and departmental meetings.
- Coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Ensuring a safe and clean working environment for both staff and patients.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move patients and equipment, with frequent exposure to various working conditions. Personal protective equipment will be provided as necessary.
