As a Clinical Lead Physician Assistant specializing in General Surgery, you will be instrumental in overseeing a dedicated surgical team within a prominent healthcare facility. This role is designed for a professional with a robust background in surgical care, ready to step into a leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-time, permanent position leading the General Surgery team.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient population, including those undergoing elective surgeries across various specialties such as colorectal, bariatrics, vascular, thoracic, and neurosurgery.
Leadership Opportunity
This is a distinctive chance to establish and guide a new Physician Assistant-led team as the elective surgical subspecialties transition from the Emergency General Surgery/Trauma APP team.
Work Environment
- Setting: Inpatient care focused on general surgery
- Schedule: Full-time, with three 12-13 hour shifts per week
On-call Requirements
- No on-call duties required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in an acute care or surgical environment.
