About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Shreveport. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide direct and indirect patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and families on health management.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Discharge Planning and Patient Education: Coordinate discharge planning, provide patient and family education on post-hospitalization care, and ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
  • Compassionate Patient Care: Demonstrate empathy, kindness, and respect in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • RN License: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state.
  • BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • ACLS Certification: Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, preferred initially and required after 90 days of employment. PAM Health offers support for obtaining ACLS certification.
  • Charge Nurses, High Ops, and ICU: ACLS certification is required from day one for these roles.
