Overview

Youth Villages is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive services to youth, young people, and their families across the United States. With a strong commitment to helping youth and families find success, we have been serving communities for over 30 years.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Engagement Coordinator to join our Strategic Partnerships department. This role will be instrumental in supporting the replication of our evidence-based programs with public and private non-profit agencies across the country.

The successful candidate will utilize strong engagement skills to build relationships with local stakeholders, implementing providers, and referral sources to increase program awareness and equitable access for all families in need of intensive in-home services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying key stakeholders for projects and supporting partner organizations in developing robust marketing plans
  • Attending and co-facilitating ongoing census and referral focused meetings
  • Building strong relationships with key community stakeholders, including referral sources and implementing provider organizations
  • Rallying together a program champion group comprised of local stakeholders
  • Actively addressing and mitigating any barriers to ensure adequate referral flow and no referral barriers
  • Engaging in existing family-based coalitions and local advocacy groups
  • Actively engaging in and supporting Lived Expert Family Fellowship
  • Developing and implementing outreach and engagement strategies to strengthen local community engagement

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve referral barriers
  • Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
  • Attention to detail, with accuracy in capturing market-related data and reporting trends
  • Adaptability, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and work independently and in a team environment

We are looking for a self-motivated and hard-working individual with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Experience with non-profit organizations is strongly preferred.
