Job Title: Challenge Course Facilitator

Job Summary:

The Department of Campus Recreation is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to facilitate a wide variety of programming utilizing the challenge course facilities at Stone Valley Recreation Area and portable activities on the University Park Campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate team-building and group dynamics programs for various organizations and groups
  • Work closely with Lead Facilitators and Outdoor Adventures management to provide a safe and engaging experience for participants
  • Develop and implement creative and motivating programs that promote self-confidence, positive group dynamics, and continued growth in team-oriented skills
  • Attend mandatory monthly staff meetings and participate in ongoing staff development workshops and trainings
  • Maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certification
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in outdoor recreation or team-building facilitation preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
