Job Summary:

Great Escape, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for leading, training, and supporting our maintenance mechanics in the performance of preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of amusement park rides and devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and train maintenance mechanics in the performance of routine maintenance tasks
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of amusement park rides and devices
• Troubleshoot and perform general maintenance of mechanical devices and vehicles to ensure proper function and safety
• Work with hydraulics, gearboxes, pneumatics, and conveyors, and perform millwright work
• Inspect and climb ride structures to identify and address potential issues

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of machinery components and operational aspects
• Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic set of hand tools and ability to work with various equipment
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Ability to perform physical activities, such as climbing, crawling, and lifting, from various heights on ride structures
• Vocational or technical trade certifications a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to keep accurate written records
