Responsibilities of an LPN at Interim HealthCare Duluth

As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Interim HealthCare Duluth, you will have the opportunity to care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries, and diseases in facilities such as medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools. You will work under the supervision of an RN and as part of a team of physicians, RNs, CNAs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.

  • Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries, and diseases
  • Take patient vitals and do assessments
  • Document progress and report changes to RN supervisor
  • Assist RN in carrying out physician's orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments
  • Administer medication and operate medical equipment
  • Maintain a safe environment
Requirements for LPN Position

To be eligible for this LPN position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A Licensed Practical Nurse active in the state of MN and in good standing
  • A minimum of 1 year of LPN experience in a medical facility
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • A compassionate nature, good communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
