We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in the after hours on-call setting. As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering empathetic and personalized care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the after hours on-call setting, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of care plans and provide emotional support as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in hospice care and maintain certification in CPR.
- Graduated from an approved school of professional nursing.
- One year experience as a registered nurse, preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of agency operation.
- Possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role, preferred.
- Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations.
- Meet the regulations and requirements of the state(s) in which program provides services.
