Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Technical Expertise: Provide guidance and support to quality engineers and leads to ensure the effective implementation of automation frameworks and tools.
  • Automation Roadmap Development: Collaborate with agile teams to develop a comprehensive automation roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Framework Design and Implementation: Design and implement automation frameworks that meet the needs of various business domains.
  • Framework Optimization: Analyze and improve existing frameworks to ensure they are efficient and effective.
  • Test Automation and Optimization: Develop and implement test automation solutions that disrupt inefficient QA procedures and provide tools and frameworks that work across domains.
  • Continuous Testing and Improvement: Enable agile teams to perform continuous testing and work to measure and improve inefficiencies in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Performance and Security Integration: Integrate performance and security with automation frameworks to ensure comprehensive testing.
  • Knowledge Management and Retention: Develop and maintain knowledge management systems to ensure cross-training and documentation of quality engineering processes.
  • Team Building and Mentoring: Help build and mentor strong quality engineering teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and expertise.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering teams to propose and roll out process improvements, new technologies, and automation practices.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S degree or higher in computer science or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering - QE testing on various platforms, 3+ years of experience in software engineering - QE automation, 3+ years of experience in software engineering – Performance testing, 2+ years of experience in software engineering – Security testing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Java, experience implementing automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver/webDriver IO/Appium/TestNG/Junit), experience with performance testing tools (Jmeter/K6/Speedcurve), experience implementing API frameworks (Rest Assured Framework/Pactumjs), experience setting up and managing test automation infrastructure (Appium/Selenium grid), experience using version control (GIT), SQL, CI/CD Tools (Jenkins), Build Tools (Maven, ANT, etc), Debugging Tools (Charles/Fiddler), Monitoring tools (New Relic/Datadog), Agile Management Tool (JIRA), Test Management Tool (TestRail).
  • Certifications: Any certification related to QE/Process/Automation/Performance Test/Security.
  • Nice to Have: Knowledge/experience on NodeJS/JavaScript/TypeScript.
