Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized examinations in the specialty area of CT and diagnostic radiology. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of CT and diagnostic equipment operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized examinations in the specialty area of CT and diagnostic radiology.
  • Adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results.
  • Prepare patients for examinations.
  • Exhibit competency in performing and filming CT and radiographic procedures.
  • Deviates from routines when the patient's condition requires it or at the request of the radiologist.
  • Knowledgeable of procedures and assist radiologist, orders labs and pathology tests, and schedules procedures appropriately.
  • Obtains and documents accurate pre and post procedure information as applicable.
  • Follows JCAHO patient safety goals.
  • Maintains quality care throughout the procedure.
  • Possesses knowledge and skills necessary to obtain adequate lab specimens for testing.
  • Performs patient bedside lab testing and associated quality control in compliance with medical provider's orders and hospital lab procedures/policies.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
  • Radiography (R)(ARRT) certification.
  • IEMA Radiography License.
  • Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
