Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including antepartum, labor, and postpartum care
- Participate in unit-based performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in labor and delivery nursing
- Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications required
- Antepartum Testing Center-Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required; Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred
- At least 12 months of acute care/hospital experience as an RN in any specialty required
