Southside Market & Barbeque is on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join our vibrant team. We are seeking authentic and passionate candidates who resonate with our commitment to quality and service.

The BBQ industry operates differently from traditional fast food or full-service dining. We pride ourselves on a quick-service, cafeteria-style experience. Guests are welcomed by our Ice Cream/Market attendant and proceed to order at the counter with our Guest Service Representatives. Their meals are prepared promptly, ensuring a seamless experience from order to payment.

At Southside, we prioritize people and teamwork, and we take pride in the hard work we do. Available Positions
Southside Market operates multiple restaurant locations, a processing and packaging facility, a catering division, a warehouse team, and an e-commerce fulfillment department. We are continuously seeking bright talent for roles such as Cashier, Floor Attendant, Dishwasher, Meat Market Attendant, Meat Cutter, Pit Cook, Prep Cook, Guest Service Representative, and Plates Attendant. We are committed to investing in our team members through cross-training and development opportunities, as we expand and open new locations.

General Requirements
  • All employees must obtain a Texas Food Handlers Certificate before starting work.
  • TABC Certification is required for all Cashiers aged 18 and older.
  • Fluency in English is necessary for all job-related tasks.
Specific Requirements

Requirements will vary based on the position. We hire for both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) roles, as well as positions in our warehouse, processing, and shipping departments.
