Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

At TotalMed Staffing, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. As a PICU RN, you will provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including assessing, planning, and implementing patient care.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assess patients' conditions.
  • Support patients and their families emotionally and provide education on treatments and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • 2 years of recent PICU nursing experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
