We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Nurse Practitioner to enhance our reputable Rheumatology care center. This role is based in a vibrant location with convenient access to major transportation routes.
Our facility is equipped with a team of skilled professionals, including 3 Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners, alongside 4 examination rooms and a modern Infusion Suite featuring 4 chairs. We focus on a wide range of conditions including general Rheumatology, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Gout, Osteoporosis, Lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, and Vasculitis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients and review their medical histories.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies.
- Diagnose and recommend treatment plans for autoimmune and arthritic conditions.
- Prescribe medications and manage IV Infusion therapies.
- Maintain precise medical records and appointment schedules.
- Educate patients regarding their health issues and prescribed treatments.
- Provide guidance to patients and their families about disease management and treatment options.
- Monitor the overall health of patients.
- Encourage healthy lifestyle practices.
- Enhance professional knowledge and engage in research activities.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the supervising physician.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, or Orthopedic Surgery is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
- Experience with joint injections is advantageous.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor and patience.
- A commitment to ongoing education and clinical skill development.
- Possession of a valid Nurse Practitioner license and DEA registration in Florida.
