We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Nurse Practitioner to enhance our reputable Rheumatology care center. This role is based in a vibrant location with convenient access to major transportation routes.

Our facility is equipped with a team of skilled professionals, including 3 Physicians and 2 Nurse Practitioners, alongside 4 examination rooms and a modern Infusion Suite featuring 4 chairs. We focus on a wide range of conditions including general Rheumatology, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Gout, Osteoporosis, Lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, and Vasculitis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients and review their medical histories.
  • Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies.
  • Diagnose and recommend treatment plans for autoimmune and arthritic conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and manage IV Infusion therapies.
  • Maintain precise medical records and appointment schedules.
  • Educate patients regarding their health issues and prescribed treatments.
  • Provide guidance to patients and their families about disease management and treatment options.
  • Monitor the overall health of patients.
  • Encourage healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Enhance professional knowledge and engage in research activities.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the supervising physician.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, or Orthopedic Surgery is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Experience with joint injections is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor and patience.
  • A commitment to ongoing education and clinical skill development.
  • Possession of a valid Nurse Practitioner license and DEA registration in Florida.
