About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Glaucoma trained Ophthalmologist to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a Senior Ophthalmologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and success of our Department of Ophthalmology.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provides primary and consultative care to patients with various eye conditions, including glaucoma.">
  • Collaborates with a team of healthcare professionals, including PA-C's and CRNP's.">
  • Participates in shared call coverage with resident support.">
  • Develops and implements treatment plans, including medication management and surgical interventions.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution.">
  • Board certification in Ophthalmology.">
  • Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania.">
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in Ophthalmology, with at least 4 years' experience in Glaucoma management.">
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.">

Compensation Package:

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $400,000 - $600,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
