About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Providence Newberg Medical Center. As a CT Scan Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have experience working with CT scanners and a strong understanding of medical imaging principles. You will be responsible for operating CT equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of internal body structures
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and maintaining patient safety
  • Maintain accurate and efficient imaging procedures, adhering to established protocols and standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
  • Experience working with CT scanners and medical imaging equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
