We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parking Ambassador at the University of Central Oklahoma. As a Parking Ambassador, you will play a critical role in enforcing parking regulations and ensuring a safe and efficient parking experience for our students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol campus parking lots to enforce parking rules and regulations.
- Monitor and report parking lot occupancy.
- Answer customer questions and provide general parking information.
- Perform minor parking lot maintenance, such as replacing signs and painting parking lots.
- Work special events, such as graduation, athletic events, and other events as required.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Must be enrolled at least half-time at the University of Central Oklahoma.
- Ability to work various hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with customers.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate enforcement equipment, such as tablets and radios.
- Experience working in a customer support environment.
- Familiarity with technology, including tablets and computers.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
This is a regular student labor position that requires heavy physical and/or manual labor. The Parking Ambassador will be required to work in all types of weather conditions and may be exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, and other environmental factors.
