Amergis is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language therapy to students.
Key Responsibilities- Assess students' communication skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, and other areas as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, including one-on-one and group sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices and new developments in the field.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of assignment.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
