Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at All Medical Personnel. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood and other specimens for laboratory testing. This is a critical role in the healthcare industry, and we are looking for a professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Collect and process blood and other specimens for laboratory testing
Label and centrifuge specimens as required
Record maintenance data and decontamination procedures
Update patient information and ensure accurate specimen collection
Collect and store specimens according to established procedures
Properly explain the process of venipuncture and other specimen collection to patients
Demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles
Understand and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations
Attend annual department trainings
Answer telephone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries

Qualifications:

Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
Reliable transportation with at least 4 years of licensed driving experience and a valid driver's license issued in the state of residence
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
High School Diploma or GED
