We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to contribute to the success of our Finance department in Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Onboard new hires by collecting necessary information and inputting data into the payroll system.
- Maintain employee payroll records and provide support for payroll inquiries.
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software (UGK, Paychex, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation:
$60k-$70k
