Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital Landmark. This is an exciting opportunity for new graduate nurses to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable clinical and critical thinking skills in a supportive environment.

About the Role

The RN Resident will work closely with experienced nurse educators, preceptors, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support. This role offers a unique combination of clinical training, educational sessions, and mentoring opportunities to help you succeed in your nursing career.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying changes in patient status and reporting them as needed.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions ordered by medical providers, documenting administration of care in patient records.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and notify providers of unintended reactions.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating their needs.
  • Teach patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
Requirements
  • BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • ACLS certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
  • No previous experience required.
