Dartmouth Health is seeking an academic palliative care physician to join our team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Our highly skilled team includes physicians, APPs, RNs, chaplains, and social workers, among others.

Role Overview

This position will provide care as part of the outpatient team at the academic medical center. As a palliative care physician, you will work with seriously ill patients, providing symptom management and support to improve their quality of life.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide continuity care to patients at our outpatient clinic on our main campus and via telehealth

  • Partner with our skilled interprofessional team to deliver high-quality patient care

  • Clinic schedule flexibility with non-clinical time for academic and clinical program development work

Qualifications

We are looking for a talented and compassionate physician who is experienced in providing outpatient palliative care. You should have excellent communication skills, be skilled at symptom management, and be passionate about teaching and mentoring others.

A strong team player with experience working in an interprofessional setting is essential. A medical license in NH and VT and a federal DEA license are also required.
