About the Role: As a Private Duty Nurse with Maxim Healthcare Services, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families. You will be responsible for delivering personalized care, managing complex medical conditions, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care coordination
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of experience in home health or private duty nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
