Overview:

Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy is in search of dedicated and patient-centered Physical Therapists. The primary focus of this role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with the aim of facilitating recovery from injuries, alleviating pain, and restoring mobility. Success in this position is driven by delivering outstanding physical therapy services with quantifiable results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and consistently surpass industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional healthcare services to patients. Ensure that patients achieve favorable outcomes and have a positive experience during their physical therapy journey.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients – gain insights into their medical and emotional backgrounds, then formulate tailored care plans.
  • Administer treatment and establish measurable, functional objectives. Address patient inquiries regarding their injuries, progress, and expected outcomes.
  • Provide education on treatment alternatives and home exercises that can enhance the effectiveness of clinical sessions.
  • Oversee aides during the administration of modalities for non-Medicare, non-BCBSM patients, including their general setup and cleanup tasks.
  • Continuously monitor and reassess patient progress; adjust care plans and redefine goals as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Incorporate pain management strategies as a vital aspect of care. Employ techniques aimed at pain reduction to improve patients' functionality and daily activities.
  • Make informed decisions regarding patient discharges. Instruct patients on proper mechanics, ergonomics, and strategies to prevent future injuries.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes.
  • Achieve a reasonable productivity level, which is influenced by the volume of referrals and the nature of the patient population. For our typical outpatient orthopedic demographic, a full-time Physical Therapist is expected to conduct 55 to 60 treatments plus evaluations weekly.
  • Engage in research initiatives supported by the clinic and contribute to the development of protocols for prevalent diagnoses.
  • Provide input on policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure that all Team Rehabilitation clinics uphold the highest standards of care.
  • Address patient feedback and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by staying informed about the latest research and techniques. Participate in company-sponsored continuing education opportunities and utilize the professional development allowance for seminars and workshops.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Team's initiative of prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctor's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Valid state license to practice and certification in Physical Therapy.
