Part-Time Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and employees. This is a part-time position that requires a rotation schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees.
- Enforce hospital rules and regulations, and report any incidents or concerns to management.
- Direct traffic and parking, and assist with vehicle problems as needed.
- Provide escort services and respond to emergencies as required.
- Participate in fire drills and fire safety programs, and assist with emergency response efforts.
- Operate security technology equipment, including CCTV systems and radios.
- Investigate incidents and complete detailed reports as required.
- Assist with prisoner escort duties and coordinate with local authorities as needed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred
