About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Baystate Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images, assisting radiologists with protocols and procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Assist radiologists with protocols and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely completion of exams.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Coordinate patient flow, managing patient schedules and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist, ARRT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists).
  • Basic Life Support certification, American Heart Association.
  • One year of experience in MRI imaging, preferably on GE/Siemens 1.5T and 3T scanners.
