Job Overview

Responsible for evaluating, planning, organizing, and implementing rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing mobility and daily functional activities, alleviating pain, increasing strength, and addressing disabling conditions resulting from illness or injury, in compliance with state practice regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct initial assessments, analyze data to identify issues, and establish a diagnosis prior to intervention. (Therapist only)

Develop, execute, and oversee personalized treatment plans to restore, enhance, and maintain physical function, relieve pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients while assisting with adaptation to disabilities.

Deliver high-quality care tailored to each patient's specific needs. Schedule patients effectively to meet clinic productivity objectives.

Utilize functional activities with accurate coding and documentation to maximize patient benefits. Manage active patient caseloads to ensure attendance and adherence to treatment plans.

Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately. Identify and document treatment goals, expected progress, and plans for reevaluation.

Supervise support staff in accordance with regulations. Assess functional outcomes at various stages and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal results.

Prepare individualized home exercise programs and instruct patients and their families accordingly. Collaborate with patients, medical professionals, or other relevant parties to plan, implement, or evaluate intervention programs.

Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards; execute practices as appropriate. Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and legal standards.

Ensure patient service and quality standards are upheld, including patient interactions and facility cleanliness. Uphold professionalism standards for both facilities and staff, maintaining a professional image.

Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives related to patient care, staff development, and facility advancement. Comply with clinic programs focused on functional outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Perform additional related duties as assigned or requested. Follow established protocols and maintain up-to-date procedures for all tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Graduate of an Accredited Rehabilitation Therapy Program.

Preferred Education: Doctorate in Rehabilitation Therapy.

Minimum Experience: None.

Preferred Experience: At least two years in an outpatient setting.

Minimum Field of Expertise: None.

Preferred Field of Expertise: Specialized rehabilitation techniques aimed at restoring, improving, and maintaining function, alleviating pain, or preventing physical dysfunction.

Certification: Current state license in good standing.

Clear background check and ability to pass initial and ongoing drug screenings.

Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy, physiology, etiology, course, prognosis, and manifestations of various disease processes.

Ability to establish clinical impressions and patient problem lists for diverse injury or disease processes with appropriate treatment indications/contraindications.

Ability to design, implement, and execute effective treatment plans. Proficient in performing a variety of treatment techniques consistently and accurately.

Ability to document patient care activities effectively according to clinic requirements. Capable of supervising support staff.

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
