Job Title: CDL Class B Driver

This position is responsible for operating a company truck and driving to various locations to service equipment from both the sanitation and shower divisions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift inspections and report deficiencies to the shop immediately.
  • Operate truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information to service equipment such as water systems, restroom trailers, and shower trailers.
  • Maintain telephone or tablet contact with dispatch to receive additional instructions and changes to work locations.
  • Follow the Company's safety guidelines to properly service all equipment in a safe and proper way.
  • Ensure that the equipment being serviced is working properly and in a condition satisfactory to Porta Kleen standards.
  • Follow all established policies and safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum 1-year commercial driving experience (CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement).
  • Ability to work irregular work hours when needed.
  • Ability to work various weekends when events dictate.
  • Ability to read and understand documents.
  • Ability to operate and use a tablet.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees and organizations.
  • Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Clean driving record with 0 accidents and less than 6 MVR Points.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves manual labor.
  • Ability to maintain alertness and acuity that is not typically impaired by any medication, diet, or physical condition.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, sit, and maneuver in confined spaces.
