Job Title: Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician

United Community & Family Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive evaluations, counseling, and treatment services for children, adolescents, and their families with developmental and behavioral difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough physical, developmental, and emotional-behavioral evaluations of children and adolescents.
  • Provide treatment services within an interdisciplinary framework, including psychopharmacology, positive behavioral interventions, and parent counseling.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct specialty assessments and provide consultation services as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree (MD or DO) in Pediatrics or a related field.
  • Valid DEA license.
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
  • 3-5 years of related experience, with a strong community health/public health orientation and patient care management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and ethical practice.
