Job Summary

The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality of cosmetic products and procedures at Performance Beauty Group. This role involves conducting quality checks, verifying product specifications, and collaborating with the production team to maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality line job duties, including preparing, verifying, and validating cosmetic products and procedures.
  • Verify bulk, components, labels, and other product specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Measure various components against standards or drawings to ensure accuracy.
  • Collect and analyze product samples for retains, microbial, and analytical testing.
  • Verify net weight and fill weight to ensure product accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the QC Manager to resolve quality-related issues and improve workflow.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager, Supervisors, Line Leads, and the Director of Operations and Supply Chain to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Enforce quality rules and procedures during production processes and take necessary actions as needed.
  • Participate in the preparation of quality reports and records as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience in manufacturing of FDA-regulated products.
  • Knowledge of CGMP in the cosmetics industry.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to read and write English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with the production team.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.

The Quality Technician will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality goals.
