About the Job

The Electrical and Instrumentation Technical Lead is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical and instrumentation systems at Orica's Winnemucca site. This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve system performance and reliability, as well as providing technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation principles, and DCS.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve system performance and reliability
  • Provide technical support and guidance on electrical and instrumentation systems to operations and maintenance teams
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams and other site teams to achieve maintenance and plant uptime objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or instrumentation engineering or related field
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a chemical plant or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation principles, and DCS
  • Proven experience with reliability engineering techniques
