Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in both new and existing structures utilizing steel, concrete, timber, and masonry design.

Responsibilities
The project manager will coordinate and communicate effectively with clients while leading a team of engineers and designers to successfully deliver projects and cultivate client relationships.
Utilizing a strong technical background in relevant codes, standards, and building systems, oversee the production of construction documents and manage projects throughout the construction administration phase while guiding a team of engineers and designers.
Conduct quality control reviews to ensure compliance with LJB Standards and applicable code requirements.
Participate in mentoring efforts to help engineers and designers develop professionally and enhance team capabilities.
Foster and maintain client relationships to secure new project opportunities.
Prepare proposals and budgets for upcoming projects.
Manage the financial aspects of assigned projects.
Leverage existing relationships to secure work in various sectors, including industrial, healthcare, multi-family, cold-storage, manufacturing, or data center markets.
Occasional travel may be required to visit client and project sites.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the production of construction documents and manage projects through construction administration.
2. Conduct quality control reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
3. Mentor engineers and designers to foster professional growth.

5. Prepare and manage project proposals and budgets.
6. Travel as necessary to client and project locations.

Additional Information
Willingness to travel to various client locations is essential. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
5+ years of engineering experience in new and existing buildings with a focus on steel, concrete, timber, and masonry design. (Experience with cold-form and post-tensioned design is advantageous.)
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required; Structural Engineer (SE) licensure is preferred.
Experience in seismic design is preferred.
