Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by inspecting received parts, parts coming out of assembly machines, and those being shipped out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of parts and products using various tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gages.
  • Operate Computer-Aided Measurement Machines (CMM) for critical dimensions and layouts.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to create charts, graphs, and reports to document inspection results and quality control procedures.
  • Participate in quality control procedures, gauge capability studies, and product quality maintenance.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using gages, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Experience in operating CMM for critical dimensions and layouts.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and industry standards.
  • Ability to conduct gauge capability studies and prepare quality documentation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

You will be working in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility with a focus on safety and quality. The facility operates with due consideration to safety, having had no OSHA recordings in the past five years. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
