Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during cardiac catheterization procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab environment to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide vital signs and other necessary information to the medical team.
  • Perform sterile scrub procedures for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures, and other cardiac procedures.
  • Stock and document supplies, patient billing, and coding of procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field preferred.
  • RT or CVT certification required; RCIS certification preferred but not required.
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification or American Red Cross ALS certification required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required.
  • Previous cardiac catheterization experience strongly preferred.
