Your Role

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team of technicians to complete project scopes under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Superintendent.
  • Interpret and analyze site schematics effectively.
  • Engage in extensive copper and fiber installations, managing over 200 drops.
  • Execute closet build-outs.
  • Understand and apply structured cabling installation best practices, codes, and troubleshooting methods, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and promptly report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Travel to various job sites across the Midwest, which may require extended stays based on project locations.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with peers, leadership, and clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in structured cabling.
  • Willingness to travel and work during 2nd and 3rd shifts as necessary.
  • Availability for overtime as required.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working with ladders and lifts.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Skills:
  • BICSI Installer 1, 2, or Technician certifications.
  • OSHA 30/10 Training and First Aid Certification.
  • Ability to enforce safety measures on the job site.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
