Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse Job Opportunity

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. As a CVOR RN, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, monitoring their vital signs during procedures, and providing post-operative care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and respond to any changes or complications
  • Provide post-operative care, including pain management and wound care
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
  • Perioperative Nursing Certification (CNOR) preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
