Automotive Damage Estimator

The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for estimating damage, scheduling work, and providing effective communication between insurance carriers, customers, and technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate damage and schedule work
• Communicate with insurance carriers, customers, and technicians
• Organize and control workflow within the group(s)
• Ensure quality repairs at fair cost to customers

Requirements:

• Valid in-state driver's license
• Ability to interpret vendor catalogs
• Working knowledge of all aspects of vehicle body repairs
• Ability to lift parts weighing up to 70 pounds

Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding position. The Body Shop Estimator will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. The ability to pass background and drug screens is required prior to employment.
