Position Overview:
As a travel nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working primarily on a Comprehensive Medical Unit, with occasional floating between various Med-Surg units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical setting.
2. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
3. Maintain proficiency in Epic EMR and demonstrate strong Telemetry skills.
4. Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
Requirements:
- Active BLS certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing.
- Proven ability to read Telemetry and pass competency assessments.
Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment to 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts and every other weekend availability. There is no call requirement.
