Apex Therapeutic Services is seeking a qualified Senior Behavioral Therapist to conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and develop positive behavioral interventions and supports.

About the Role
  • We are looking for an experienced professional with a Master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, or related field and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and NYS Licensure.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive functional assessments of behavior, identifying patterns and underlying causes.
  2. Develop evidence-based interventions and supports for individuals with challenging behavior.
  3. Work closely with families and caregivers to implement interventions and monitor progress.
  4. Provide training to families, caregivers, and other professionals on evidence-based behavioral interventions.
  5. Keep detailed records of assessments, interventions, and progress.
  6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for individuals with challenging behaviors.
Requirements
  • $85,000 - $110,000 per year salary.
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • The ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
