About the RoleAs a Hybrid Behavioral Health Clinician, you will be responsible for providing culturally sensitive clinical interventions to youth aged 18 to 20 who are transitioning to adulthood and experiencing challenges. You will work closely with the director, case manager, medical staff, and programming manager to ensure appropriate evaluations and treatment interventions for the youth.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with assigned residents for weekly sessions and engage with their parents to ensure home visits are conducted.
- Provide vocational, educational, psychiatric, and recreational services to support the youth's development.
- Identify and provide access to specific concrete services and community resources to support the youth's needs.
- Advocate on behalf of the residents with external resources, such as mental health providers, treatment facilities, and community members.
- Provide individual and family counseling, both on-site and through telehealth, to support the youth's mental health and well-being.
- Liaise between program, family court, ACS, case planners, youth's family members, and relevant community members to ensure seamless support.
- Incorporate DBT skill building into work with youth and their families to promote healthy coping mechanisms.
- Attend planned ACS and school conferences, as well as court hearings, to ensure the youth's needs are met.
We are seeking individuals with a Master's degree in Social Work (LMSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) with a minimum of one year of relevant experience working with similar populations. A valid driver's license is required, and Spanish speaking is a plus.
