Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Mission Box Solutions. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering radiation therapy treatments and simulations with minimal supervision. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments and simulations with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to treatment planning procedures, including tumor localization and dosimetry.
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists to determine the best course of treatment for patients.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of patient treatments and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital or treatment center environment.
  • ARRT, RT (R), registration or registry eligibility.
  • Possession of a current Medical Radiologic Technologist certificate with the Texas Medical Board or initiation of the application process before hire for new graduates in training.
  • Maintenance of current licensure/registration/certification, including BLS certification.
