Position Title: Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a solid understanding of chillers, boilers, air handling units, fan coil systems, water treatment apparatus, control systems, and other mechanical and electrical infrastructure within buildings.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Dispatch Team to ensure timely and complete execution of assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to safe work practices in alignment with OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards while executing job responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Proven experience in maintaining commercial-grade equipment of similar type and size, alongside a valid Universal CFC certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions, performing tasks with minimal oversight in isolated settings.
  • Familiarity with the safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary for completing work assignments.
  • Physical capability to stand, sit, or squat for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to navigate stairs, ladders, and work at elevated heights.
  • Willingness to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.
  • Competence in using desktop computers and internet-based applications for mandatory annual training.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
