The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing technical documentation, statements of work, and managing project scope, schedule, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, and integration of specific hardware and software components and systems.
  • Conduct systems requirements reviews and develop concepts of operation and interface standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation, statements of work, and manage project scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Work with senior engineers and managers to understand and document scope and parameters for project initiation and implementation.
  • Serve as the project engineering interface between the engineering team, vendors, logistics functions, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical management role with an understanding of IT equipment, networks, and end-user devices.
  • Ability to handle complex customer situations and interact with all levels of personnel to provide quick and effective resolutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six years of hands-on systems engineering and/or network, end-user, and security experience supporting the design, deployment, and operation of Enterprise IT capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Network Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM fundamentals and related infrastructure to include some level of experience/knowledge with ServiceNow, Splunk, VMware, Windows, UNIX, and related operating systems.
  • Experience with Thin & Thick client end points and VoIP.
  • Active PMP Certification.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
