We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Adolescent Medicine Specialist to join our team at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and contributing to the education and training of medical students and residents.

About the Position

As a Pediatric Adolescent Medicine Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from infants to young adults, and to develop your skills in a variety of areas, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of adolescent health issues.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to adolescents and young adults, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of health issues.
  • Conduct research in adolescent health care, including studies on the prevention and treatment of adolescent health issues.
  • Contribute to the education and training of medical students and residents, including teaching and mentoring in the classroom and clinical settings.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans for adolescents and young adults.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in adolescent health care, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Adolescent Medicine.
  • Completion of an Adolescent Medicine Fellowship program.
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to design and conduct studies, and to analyze and interpret data.
