A leading healthcare network in Connecticut is seeking a licensed Urologist to expand their team of medical professionals.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with a regular schedule and minimal weekend call.
Hours:
8am to 5pm, with a balanced workload and adequate breaks.
Call:
Light weekday call, with 1 in 4 weekend shifts, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
Patient Volume:
18 to 25 patients per day, providing a challenging yet manageable workload.
Responsibilities:
The Urologist will:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and physical examinations to diagnose urological conditions.
Order and perform various diagnostic tests, such as urinalysis, blood tests, imaging studies, cystoscopies, and biopsies.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
Conduct a range of surgical procedures to treat urological conditions, utilizing the latest techniques and technologies.
Provide ongoing care and monitoring for chronic urological conditions, such as urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and chronic kidney disease.
Educate patients and their families about urological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures, promoting health and wellness.
Keep accurate and detailed medical records, including patient histories, test results, treatment plans, and follow-up notes, ensuring seamless care coordination.
Perform other duties as needed, contributing to the success of the healthcare network.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut, with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
Board Eligible/Certified, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and technologies.
Active DEA registration, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and minimizing risks.
BLS certification, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and well-being.
