Nurse Practitioner Role

As a Nurse Practitioner at Saint Francis Medical Center, you will provide primary care to patients following established standards and practices in collaboration with physicians in the clinic.
Job Details and RequirementsEducation:- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and complete an approved Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse and an Advanced Practice Nurse by the State of Missouri.
- BLS Certification.
- Three years of experience as a family nurse practitioner is preferred.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff, and the public.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards and remain calm and effective during emergency situations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions.
- Ability to learn and efficiently utilize diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records, and other common computer programs.
