Position Summary:

We are looking for a capable individual to fulfill the role of HVAC Installer Helper. This position involves performing routine maintenance, replacing components, and assisting in the installation of HVAC systems using various tools and materials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess 3-5 years of experience in HVAC with a focus on system replacement installations.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in HVAC systems and equipment installation, including electrical and mechanical components.
  • Utilize pipefitting, brazing, and soldering skills to ensure proper installation and connection of refrigerant piping.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues during installation, showcasing problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy in measurements and fittings, optimizing efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service, effectively communicating with clients and addressing their concerns.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while balancing speed and accuracy.
  • Adapt to various HVAC systems and stay updated with industry advancements.
  • Prioritize safety protocols and adhere to industry guidelines during installations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other professionals in a team environment.
  • Perform work in compliance with established processes and practices, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and travel as necessary.
  • Meet physical requirements, including lifting and maneuvering in confined spaces.
  • Hold a valid EPA Certification.
  • Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Subject to background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Completion of a relevant apprenticeship is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and their functionalities.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment essential for HVAC installation and maintenance.
  • Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
