We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a PreOp PACU Specialist at SCA Health. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and hemodynamic stability.
- Develop and implement individualized perianesthesia plans of care, including pain and comfort management, wound care, and fluid management.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless patient care and transfer.
- Provide education to patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain required competencies.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- One year of PreOp or PACU experience required.
- Current state licensure to practice nursing.
- Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
We offer a competitive salary range of $33.86-$49.86 per hour, depending on experience. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment.
