Job Opportunity

Part-Time Bilingual Clinician

Catholic Social Services, in partnership with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, has an opening for a part-time clinician to support the clinical team in a program providing foster care, treatment, and educational services to unaccompanied children entering the United States.

The successful candidate will work up to 21 hours (3 days) per week to provide clinical support and meet program requirements. The schedule can vary, and the candidate must be able to work flexible hours when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake risk assessments within 72 hours of clients being admitted into the program.
  • Screen for trafficking or other concerns and make referrals as needed.
  • Provide a minimum of weekly individual counseling sessions.
  • Lead twice-weekly group therapy sessions with all clients in the program.
  • Provide regular updates on each client's progress to the clinical supervisor.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
  • Attend required trainings.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.
  • Must be licensed or license eligible (license preferred).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency.
  • Ability to work in a diverse setting and be flexible, creative, and adaptable.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and demonstrate cross-cultural sensitivity.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
